In 2015, Preserve Duxbury was formed to advocate for responsible and careful development of land on North Street and the surrounding neighborhoods. As residents, our focus is the wetlands, wildlife habitat and scenic character of the area as well as the health and safety of residents as they relate to development in Duxbury.
This website chronicles the approval process of a proposed 40B development on North Street. After many years of discussion, the 40B development on North Street has been approved by the Duxbury Zoning Board of Appeals, Conservation Commission and Board of Health. It includes two single family units in the North Hamlet near the intersection of North Street and Keene Street and 14 units in the South Hamlet.
